Personography Dates

Personography club takes place on the first Thursday in the month, on zoom, at a new time of 6.15pm – 8.15pm

  • 4th July 2024 – (to be confirmed) Homeopathy
  • 6th June 2024 – Working in the NHS. Presented by Steve Sharkey – During the evening, Steve will describe how NHS psychological services are structured into three tiers, known as, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sectors, helping us to understand how to get help when clients are in a crisis, and how we can signpost or refer clients to statutory services who we cannot help. The evening may also be of interest to those who are contemplating working in the NHS. Steve will also talk about his experience managing a residential/therapeutic step-down project for mentally disordered offenders leaving NHS high security and medium secure units. Steve is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and former NHS Consultant Psychotherapist, now semi-retired. He has a very small private practice and continues to teach. Steve trained as an individual adult and forensic psychotherapist with a special interest in working with personality disorder.
  • 2nd May 2024 – as requested, domestic violence from a police perspective. Presnted by Joanne Paine
  • 4th April 2024 – Working with survivors of domestic abuse and the dangers of vicarious trauma. Presented by Raikha Masih
  • 7th March 2024 – Forest Bathing
  • 1st February 2024 – The healing garden
  • 4th January 2024 – The view point of the police in safeguarding and domestic violence issues
  • 7th December 2023 – Homeophathy
